Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura was born as Śrī Kedarnath Dutta in his maternal uncle’s home in Ula (Nadia district, west Bengal) in 1838. But his forefathers house is in the village of Chhoti in the Kendrapara District of Odisha.
